Achieve

A Personal Branding Project

About My Creation

The Achieve Project was a live brief in which I was to create personal branding for my client, Andrew.

The project focused on individuals with disabilities who wish to find work in their desired industry but are faced with challenges. The identity is to be tailored to the client and feel representative of them to show to a potential employer.

Initial Ideas

I received lots of information from my client to get me started. This included Andrew's hobbies, favourite colours, possible design styles and what kind of job he might be looking to get.

I first started working off of the information provided about Andrew liking sport and wanting hands on work however, I felt this was not working and decided to go for a much more illustrative approach.

I created illustrations of my client in a monochrome and simple style so that the logo could be adapted in different ways.

Final Touchpoints

For the brand touchpoints, I have designed a postcard which says “hi, my name is Andrew’ as this is how he introduced himself within his video interview and so I felt this was a friendly introduction.

I have created patterns from Andrew’s drawings for the wider identity which are fun and inviting along with his logo.

Further touchpoints include some wrapping paper, this alludes to Andrews interest in car wrapping, along with the stickers that can help to keep the wrapping paper altogether. The stickers and wrapping paper also include the logo.

Furthermore, as Andrew had a lot of hobbies, skills and work experience, I decided to make a constatina book that further introduced Andrew and displayed the qualities he had mentioned in his video and questionnaire.
